Young Artist Spotlight

Learn. Shop. Support.

Part of HoneyBee Heather’s mission is to assist young people in their art journey. Through the blog, one can find FAQs on how to start making & selling prints and more. Now I am proud to spotlight local young artists as they learn the how tos of selling their art. They don’t need help with the art- they are Artists with a capital A! It’s the business side of the art world they’re learning about, as I learn too. As a note, all of these young people are folks I know, and I can’t take unsolicited folks, sorry!

The first artist spotlight is Debba and her business, Mocha Bliss. According to Debba:

I'm Debba, & my business name is Mocha Bliss! I have been making art for as long as I can remember & love it. Burlington has always been my home & I start BHS in the fall. My favorite things to draw are cute animals & especially cats!”

Having known Debba since she was seven years old, it has been lovely to see her growth as a person and an artist! Even at seven, she was drawing unicorns and horses and animals that were beyond her years. Now we have a kinship with a love of cats and community! Every sale goes straight to Debba and her college fund (well, she says most of it to her college fund….). Thank you!
